Services Available
Ante-Natal Clinic
We hold a clinic each week to monitor your progress through pregnancy and share your care with the local midwives and hospital consultant.
Baby Clinic
Dr. Jepson is trained in child health surveillance and runs this clinic with the help of the Health Visitor and the Practice Nurses.
District Nursing Sister
Patients who are confined to their home and need nursing assistance may arrange with their Doctor for a Community Nursing Sister to call.
The district nurses also run leg ulcer clinics. This is strictly by appointment and patients should call 01253 951418. This is an answerphone service and messages are collected regularly by the District Nursing team.
Dressing Clinics
Dressing clinics are now provided by the Wound Care service, again strictly by appointment and the telephone number is 0300 123 1144.
Family Planning Clinic
Run by Sister, provides advice on all methods of contraception, including sex education for teenagers, advice on safe sex and pre-conceptual care.
Health Visitor
The Health Visitor is a qualified nurse who has special training to offer advice and health education, particularly in the home.
Minor Surgery
This service is provided by Dr. Adam where joint injections can be performed in the surgery.
